We are aiming to make two bus trips this morning. The first one will leave at 7:30am. The bus will drop off at the University then come back to the hotel again.  Apologies - we were unable to send this out via the email system. 

The bus departure time this afternoon will be announced during the conference as we still need to confirm with the bus company. 

Please complete the form if you are interested in attending the tour of the steam generating heat pump on campus on Wednesday 26th August starting 3.15pm.

We hope you are enjoying the conference so far. We have had requests to make presentation slides available for download - please let us know by emailing gl@waikato.ac.nz if you do NOT want your slides to be shared.

If you need a hard copy of an attendance certificate, please email gl@waikato.ac.nz by Thursday morning (26th August) so we can print them for you before you leave.

Finally, please select suitable footwear for the trip to Hobbiton, as some of the paths of the set will not be suitable for high heels.

Please upload your sessions as soon as possible to Comet. 

The most up to date version of the programme will always be uploaded to the website. Any late withdrawals or rescheduling will be represented in the online version of the programme. Please check periodically. 

The proceedings will be provided to delegates with a USB. They will also be made available through the Comet portal. An email will be sent when this is available. 

Please ensure that you have your conference dinner ticket which has been printed and put in your lanyard holder. 

If you no longer wish to attend the conference dinner, please return your ticket to the registration desk so that we can distribute them among our waitlist. 

We will send an email for any spare conference dinner tickets to those who have added themselves to the waitlist (via the registration desk) on Monday evening. Otherwise, you can check with the registration desk on Tuesday if any spares have been handed in.  

The Conference Committee have organised for a bus to bring delegates from the Novotel to the University of Waikato on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. You do not need to be staying at the Novotel to use this free shuttle and we encourage you to use this bus if you are staying in the city centre. 

The bus schedule will be posted closer to the conference but you can expect that the bus will arrive approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled start and leave approximately 15 minutes after the scheduled end of each day. The conference bus will not be available on Sunday - please plan your travel accordingly. On Tuesday, the bus will only be catering for those going to the conference dinner. 

The Conference Committee have organised bus transport to and from the University to Hobbiton free of charge.

To minimise the amount of signage that would otherwise be thrown away at the end of the event, we have substituted direction signage with videos showing you the way from our main entrances to help you find the Pā. 

Our full registrations include a delegate pack. Each delegate pack aimed to include only items that are useful for our delegates. If you do not want any of your items, please give them to the registration desk so that they are not wasted and we can find them a good home. 

As part of the delegate pack (full registration), you will have received a travel mug. We encourage you to use this during coffee breaks to minimise waste. There's a sink area in the Pā where these can be rinsed during the day.
